چکیده
مقدمه: عمل جراحی یکی از فرایندهای درمانی پرکاربرد محسوب می شود که با میزان بالایی از عوارض و مرگ‌ومیر همراه است.  این در حالی است که بر اساس برآوردهای انجام‌گرفته نیمی از این پیامدها قابل پیشگیری هستند. هدف از مطالعه حاضر تعیین تاثیر چک‌لیست ایمنی جراحی بر عوارض و مرگ‌ومیر بیماران جراحی شده بود.
روش‌کار:  پژوهش مداخله ای حاضربه صورت توصیفی-تحلیلی و آینده‌نگر در سال 1395 در یکی از بیمارستان های عمومی شهر تهران انجام شد. از میان بیماران جراحی شده، 1604 بیمار در دو گروه مورد و شاهد به روش تصادفی ساده انتخاب و داده های آنان بر اساس چک لیست ایمنی جراحی استاندارد شده سازمان جهانی بهداشت استخراج شد. تجزیه و تحلیل‌های آماری با استفاده از آزمون‌های توصیفی (میانگین، درصد) و آزمون‌های استنباطی (کای‌مربع) در محیط نرم افزار Stata انجام شد.
یافته‌ها: مطابق نتایج به دست آمده، تفاوت معناداری در گروه شاهد و مورد پس از اجرای چک‌لیست ایمنی جراحی در کاهش عوارض و مرگ‌ومیر بیماران جراحی شده مشاهده نشد (p>0.05).
نتیجه‌گیری: اثربخشی یک ابزار وابسته به مجموعه‌ای از شرایط است که از مهم ترین آنها می توان به نحوه به کارگیری ابزار و نگرش کارکنان نسبت به آن نام برد. از این رو به‌نظر می‌رسد که تکمیل چک لیست ایمنی جراحی به عنوان یکی از مراحل فرآیند جراحی در اتاق عمل نمی‌تواند به تنهایی به بهبود وضعیت، کاهش عوارض و مرگ‌ومیر بیماران جراحی‌شده کمک کند.

چکیده English

Introduction: Surgery is one of the most widely used health care that High levels of morbidity and mortality is
attribute to this care, while half of these outcomes are preventable. The purpose of the present study was to determine the effect of surgical safety checklist on the morbidity and mortality of operated patients.
Materials and Methods: The present intervention study was descriptive-analytical and prospective in one of the public hospitals in Tehran. 1604 patients among the operated patients were randomly selected in the control and case
groups and their data were extracted with WHO standardized surgical safety checklist. Statistical analysis was performed using descriptive tests (mean, percentage) and analytical tests (chi square) by Stata software.
Results: According to the results, there was no significant difference between control and case groups after the
implementation of surgical safety checklist in morbidity and mortality of operated patients (P˃0.05).
Conclusion: The effectiveness of an instrument depends on a set of conditions that using method and the attitude of
the staff towards it is very determinative, Therefore, it seems that completing the surgical safety checklist merely as one of the stages of the surgical process in operating room cannot improve the situation and reduce the morbidity and mortality of the operated patients.
