چکیده
مقدمه: افرادی همچون بیماران تالاسمیک که دریافت مکرر فراورده‌های خونی دارند در معرض خطر ابتلای ویروس هپاتیت جی (G) هستند. این مطالعه با هدف تعیین شیوع سرولوژیک ویروس هپاتیت جی و عوامل همراه با آن در بیماران بتا-تالاسمی ماژور شهرستان جهرم انجام شد.
روش کار: این مطالعه مقطعی- توصیفی در سال 1400 روی 91 بیمار تالاسمی ماژور شهرستان جهرم انجام شد. وجود آنتی بادی ضدویروس هپاتیت جی در سرم تمام شرکت کنندگان به روش الایزا بررسی شد. اطلاعات جمعیت شناختی، میانگین سابقه زمان دریافت خون و مقادیر سرمی آنزیم‌های کبدی از پرونده بیماران استخراج شد. داده‌های حاصل از آزمایش‌ها و پرونده بیماران به کمک نرم‌افزار آماری SPSS-16 و با استفاده از آمار توصیفی، آزمون تی و آزمون مربع کای مورد تجزیه و تحلیل آماری قرار گرفتند.
یافته‌ها:‌ شیوع آنتی‌بادی­ های IgG و IgM علیه ویروس هپاتیت جی به ترتیب برابر 18.70 درصد و 5.5 درصد بود. موارد مثبت آزمایش‌های الایزا با مدت زمان سابقه دریافت خون و میانگین میزان سرمی ALP، AST، ALT ارتباط آماری معناداری داشت (p<0.05) و با میانگین سن بیماران و جنس بیماران ارتباط آماری معناداری نداشت (p>0.05).
نتیجه‌گیری:‌ ویروس هپاتیت جی یکی از عوامل بیماری هپاتیت و افزایش میزان سرمی آنزیم‌های کبدی در بیماران بتا-تالاسمی شهرستان جهرم بود.

Introduction: People who have multiple transfusions, such as Beta-thalassemia patients, are at risk for the hepatitis G
virus (HGV) infection. The aim of the study was the determination of serological prevalence of HGV and its associated factors in beta-thalassemia major patients in Jahrom-Iran.
Materials and Methods: This cross-sectional study, was done on 91 beta-thalassemia patients referring to the thalassemia center, Jahrom-Iran, 2021. Blood samples were collected from the patients and anti-HGV antibodies were evaluated by ELISA methods. Serum levels of ALT, AST, ALP and demographic data were extracted from patients' medical records. Descriptive analysis, X2, and T-test were used for statistical analyses by SPSS-16.
Results: The prevalence anti-HGV IgG and IgM were 18.7 % and 5.5 %, respectively. There were significant relationships between the frequencies of anti-HGV antibodies and serum level of ALT, ASL, ALP and also with the history time of transfusion (P<0.05). But, there were no significant relationships between the frequencies of anti-HGV antibodies with patients' sex and the mean of age (P>0.05).
Conclusions: HGV is one of the etiologic factors of hepatitis in thalassemia patients in Jahrom. Further comprehensive and molecular-based studies are recommended to explore the prevalence of HGV and its role in hepatitis thalassemia patients.
