چکیده

مقدمه: سالمندی مرحله حساسی از زندگی بشر بوده و توجه به مسائل و نیازهای این مرحله یک ضرورت اجتماعی است. بروز سوء رفتار نسبت به سالمندان در چند سال گذشته به سرعت افزایش یافته و مورد توجه جوامع و متخصصان مراقبت های بهداشتی قرار گرفته است. مطالعه حاضر با هدف تعیین اپیدمیولوژی سوء رفتار و عوامل همراه با آن در سالمندان شهر نیشابور در سال 1396 انجام شد.
روش کار: این مطالعه توصیفی- مقطعی با مشارکت سالمندان 60 سال و بالاتر ساکن شهر نیشابور انجام شد. روش نمونه‌گیری از نوع تصادفی و براساس معیارهای ورود بود. ابزارهای مورد استفاده شامل فرم داده‌های دموگرافیک و پرسشنامه استاندارد سوء رفتار با سالمندان بود. داده ها با استفاده از نرم افزار SPSS نسخه 16 و آزمون های توصیفی و استنباطی مورد تجزیه و تحلیل قرار گرفت.
یافته‌ها: از بین 176 نفر شرکت‌کننده در پژوهش 65.3 درصد مرد و میانگین سنی سالمندان 9.11±68.11 بود. نتایج نشان داد شیوع سوء رفتار در بین سالمندان 56.8 درصد است که بیشترین سوء رفتار از نوع سوء رفتار روان شناختی 47.7 درصد و کمترین آن مربوط به طرد شدگی 2.8 درصد است. براساس آزمون آمار مجذور کای بین سوء رفتار و متغیرهای سن، وضعیت اقتصادی و سوءمصرف مواد ارتباط معناداری مشاهده شد (p<0.001).
نتیجه‌گیری: به طور کلی نتایج این مطالعه نشان داد که سوء رفتار با سالمندان در سطح شهر نیشابور بالا است.

Introduction: Elderly is a sensitive period in human life and attention to the needs of this stage is a social necessity.
Elderly Abuse has grown rapidly over the last few years and has attracted the attention of communities and healthcare professionals. The present study was conducted to determine the epidemiology of Abuse with the elderly and Related Factors in Neyshabour city in 2017.
Materials and Methods: This descriptive-analytic study was conducted with participation of elderly people aged 60 years and over in Neyshabur city. Sampling method was random. The instruments used included demographic information form and standard Elderly Abuse questionnaire. Data were analyzed by SPSS software version 16.
Results: Among the 176 participants in the study, 65.3% were male and the mean age of the elderly was 68.11±9.11. The results showed that the prevalence of abuse among the elderly was 56.8% that the highest level of abuse was psychological abuse of 47.7% and the least of them was Abandonment 2.8%. According to Chi-square test, there was a significant relationship between elder- abuse and age, Drug abuse economic status (p<0.001).
Conclusion: Overall, the results of this study showed that the level of abuse among the elderly in this study is relatively high and this indicates the extent of the issue at the Neyshabour city level.
