Background and Objectives: Antibiotics play an important role in people of all ages from infants to adults. Antibiotics are necessary for most bacterial infections, and not taking them in some cases can be life-threatening. Methods: This descriptive cross-sectional study was performed on mothers with children under 7 years of age in Jahrom in 2021. Participating mothers were selected in an accessible and easy way. After stating that the work was research and obtaining consent, they were asked to complete the questionnaire of knowledge, writing and performance. Data collection tools in this study include demographic information, items related to awareness, attitude and practice, which were completed by the participants in the project. Results: The results showed that the level of knowledge of 53.9% of mothers was moderate and 44.9% was high. Also, the attitude of the majority of mothers (63.4%) was at a high level. In terms of performance, the majority of mothers participating in the study were at a high level. Conclusion: According to the findings of the present study, the need to use educational programs on the use of antibiotics for mothers in children under 7 years of age and to help reduce the abuse of antibiotics and medical emergencies. It is recommended to provide the child with the necessary information about the therapeutic effects of antibiotic use to a greater or lesser extent and to increase the level of maternal awareness.
