		<Abstract>Background: Dialysis patients are at high risk of hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection due to shared dialysis machines. This study aimed to determine the association of immunity to HBV with serum levels of liver function markers in dialysis patients vaccinated against HBV.&lt;br&gt;Methods: This cross-sectional-analytical study was conducted on 64 dialysis patients in Jahrom-Iran, 2025. Demographic information, serum levels of antibodies against HBV, and liver function indexes were extracted from the patients&#039; records. After collection, the data were analyzed using SPSS-16 software and descriptive and analytical statistics.&lt;br&gt;Results: Of the 64 dialysis patients studied, 59.4% were male. 87.50% of patients were immune to HBV. There was no significant difference in terms of age, gender, and HBV immunity status (P &gt;0.05). The mean serum levels of transferases, alkaline phosphatase, and bilirubin were statistically significantly different in immune and non-immune patients (P &lt;0.05).&lt;br&gt;Conclusion: The immunity rate to HBV in the studied patients is satisfactory compared to the results of other studies. This immunity has a significant inverse relationship with the serum levels of transferases, alkaline phosphatase and bilirubin. It is recommended to conduct detailed studies with a larger sample size to investigate the role of these factors and liver diseases on immunity to HBV in dialysis patients.</Abstract>

		<Abstract>&lt;strong&gt;Introduction:&lt;/strong&gt; The mammalian cell cycle is a highly conserved process and contains four distinct ordered phases. There are multiple checkpoint mechanisms to protect genome integrity. Deregulations in these checkpoint mechanisms promote cancer induction. Downregulation of tumor suppressor genes (TSGs) because of DNA methylation and histone deacetylation result in cancer induction. Fortunately, this process is reversible and re-expression of TSGs induce apoptosis induction. In this review, positive and negative cell cycle regulators and therapeutic strategies are investigated.&lt;br&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Methods:&lt;/strong&gt; This narrative review study has been written with investigation of a series of articles published in the field of cancer. In this work, several keywords were selected from MESH including Cyclin, Cyclin-dependent kinase, cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitors, Tumor suppressor genes, DNA methyltransferase, and Histone deacetylase and search was done using the PubMed online database and the Scholar website. Finally, good and high- quality studies were investigated.&lt;br&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Results: &lt;/strong&gt;Re-expression of TSGs by epigenetic drugs is suitable strategy for cancer treatment. These compounds can inhibit DNMTs and HDACs activities resulting in re-expression of TSGs.&lt;br&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Conclusion: &lt;/strong&gt;Epigenetic drugs can reactivate silenced TSGs, resulting in apoptosis induction. This method can be a good strategy for cancer treatment.</Abstract>

		<Abstract>Abstract&lt;br&gt;Introduction: Cystic fibrosis (CF) is a chronic genetic disease requiring continuous care and active participation of patients and families. Nursing theories can help organize and improve complex care processes.&lt;br&gt;Objective: This case study examined the application and effectiveness of King’s Goal Attainment Model in the nursing care of a 12-year-old adolescent with CF.Methodology: A mixed-methods case study was conducted using King’s Theory of Goal Attainment and the Goal Attainment Scaling (GAS) model, scored from −2 to +2. Data were collected through chart review, interviews, and standard instruments, including the RCMAS, CF self-care questionnaire, cough checklist, and respiratory awareness test. Outcomes were assessed at discharge, one week after discharge, and three months later.&lt;br&gt;Findings: Twenty-four mutual goals were identified between the nurse, patient, and family. Marked improvement was observed across outcomes: self-care increased from 0% to 95% (GAS: +1), daily coughing decreased from 20–30 to 10–15 episodes (GAS: +2), weight increased from 30 to 32.5 kg (GAS: +2), anxiety decreased from severe to mild (GAS: +2), respiratory awareness improved (GAS: +2), adherence to physiotherapy increased from 20% to 90% (GAS: +1), and no rehospitalization occurred (GAS: +2).&lt;br&gt;Conclusion: King’s Goal Attainment Model proved to be a measurable and effective framework for improving clinical and behavioral outcomes in an adolescent with CF. It enhanced self-management, reduced symptoms, and strengthened patient participation. Further large-scale studies are recommended.</Abstract>

		<Abstract>Introduction: Pregnancy and childbirth are accompanied by specific customs and rituals in different cultures. This study aimed to identify and analyse beliefs and traditions related to pregnancy in Jahrom County, based on the theory of cultural care.&lt;br&gt;Methods: This qualitative study was conducted using a focused ethnographic approach. Data were collected through participant observation, semi-structured interviews with women who had experienced childbirth, a local midwife, and a formally trained midwife, field notes, and review of relevant texts. Purposeful sampling continued until theoretical saturation was achieved. Data analysis was performed using thematic analysis and Spradley’s four-step approach. The trustworthiness of the findings was ensured using Guba and Lincoln’s four criteria.&lt;br&gt;Results: The core theme was “the integration of traditional beliefs and modern health recommendations.” Beliefs were classified into nine main categories. The most significant harmful belief was the prohibition of consuming foods with a “hot” temperament during the first trimester of pregnancy, leading to micronutrient deficiencies. The most significant beneficial belief was the extensive social support provided to the pregnant woman, which contributed to stress reduction and improved mental health. Neutral beliefs were also identified.&lt;br&gt;Conclusion: Understanding and respecting cultural beliefs, particularly regarding nutrition and social support, can aid in designing effective and tailored interventions to improve maternal and neonatal health in Jahrom. The theory of cultural care provides a suitable framework for analysing beliefs at three levels: preservation, accommodation, and re-patterning. This study reflects the coexistence of traditional and modern medical systems in a transitioning urban–rural society.</Abstract>
