		<Abstract>Abstract

Background and Objective: The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of 8 weeks of aerobic training on Agouti-related peptide, appetite hormones and insulin resistance in overweight sedentary women.

Materials and Methods: Thirty overweight students (25≥BMI≤30) were selected and randomly divided: training and control. Before the start of practice period, and 48-hr after their last exercise session subjects completed the food frequency questionnaires. Then after blood sampling, their anthropometric characteristics were measured. The Training group participate in 8 weeks moderate intensity aerobic training while the control group continued their normal daily activities.

 Results: Agouti-Related Protein in the exercise group significantly increased (p=0.001). Significant changes were also observed between the two groups (p=0.005). While changes in leptin, insulin and insulin resistance were not statistically significant (P&gt;0.05). Training leads to significant reduction in energy intake and fat (p=0.01) and carbohydrates intake (p&lt;0.05). While the changes between the two groups showed no significant difference (P&gt;0.05).

Conclusion: although 8 weeks moderate intensity aerobic training led to decrease in calorie intake, fat and carbohydrate consumption but this changes were not significant. Maybe, Agouti-Related Protein changes may affect factors other than appetite. Possibly, offering nutritional education and program along with exercise program can lead to more effective results. </Abstract>

		<Abstract>Abstract

Introduction: Atrial natriuretic peptide is a type of peptide hormone which release into blood in term of atrials stretch. This hormone it have beneficial effect in decrease hypertension. Physical activity may be that causes to change secretion of this hormone. The purpose of this study evaluate the effect of one session anaerobic exercise in serum ANP on trained and untrained healthy men.

Materials and Methods: Population consist of 15 trained healthy men( age: 21/6 ± 1/88 year, height: 174/33 ± 5/75 cm, weight: 67/68 ± 5/53 kg) and 15 untrained healthy men( age: 21/4 ± 2/16 year, height: 175/66 ± 4/76 cm, weight: 69/6 ± 4/61 kg). Both groups performed Rast anaerobic test. They run with maximum power 35 metric distance( 6 distance) and around 10 second rest between any distance. 10 minute before started and immediately after training, blood sample were collect to assay serum ANP. Data were analyzed by used Spss software( version 16), descriptive statistics, independent T test, correlated T test and analysis of covariance in significance level P ≤ 0/05.

Result: The result showed that one session anaerobic training it causes significant increase of serum ANP in both groups, but in trained group was significantly higher than untrained group. Also primal content of serum ANP it were higher in trained group than untrained group.

Conclusion: Based on this investigate, it seem that one session of anaerobic training it able to increase of serum ANP in trained and untrained healthy men, and  plays a important role in blood pressure control.</Abstract>

		<Abstract>Goals: There is a close and significant relationship between pulmonary functioning, and general health and death rate. With regard to the very limited number of research conducted in Iran on the pulmonary functioning of mid-endurance  Iranian woman athletes, this study aims at investigating the effects of physical activity on pulmonary function of professional mid-endurance female runners .

Methodology: This semi-experimental study applied pre-test and post-test purposefully and voluntarily on 15 mid-endurance  Female  runners and 15 non-athletes. Pulmonary volumes were measured during, right after, and 10 minutes after Couper’s test. Half an hour later, a sample of the sputum was taken to check bronchia factors (p≥0.05).

Findings: A significant intragroup FVC level was found (p&lt;0.003), (p&lt;0.000), but not a significant intergroup difference. Based on the 15% and more decrease in FEV1 following physical activity, bronchospasm frequency due to exercise was 6.66% in the athletes’ group and 13.33 % in non-athletes. No significant difference was found after a comparison of inflammatory leukocytes was run.

Conclusion: The greatest difference was concerned with the FVC volume, being significant within each group. The average proportion of FEV1 to FVC in athletes and non-athletes, however, were reported 89% and 85%, respectively, which is suggestive of a better respiratory functioning in mid- endurance  woman athletes as compared to that in non-athlete women.</Abstract>

		<Abstract>Background and purpose: lack of movement is one of the factors that can increase obesity. Zumba exercise has a positive effect on body composition and rate of calorie burn and also improve people&amp;#39;s cardiovascular endurance.the aim of this study was survey the effects of 8-week selected Zumba fitness trainings on the body composition of women with overweight.

Methodology: 29  women volunteers participating Zumba fitness exercises at Artay club (branch 2), were selected  as statically sample and divided in 2 groups: Zumba fitness training group (16 participants) and control group (13 participants). The experimental group for eight weeks, three times a week and each session an hour of Zumba exercise performed. The control group only did their daily activities, body composition were measured before and after eight weeks Zumba fitness exercises For statistical analysis of data, we used of Kolmogorov-Smirnov test and independent and dependent t- test (α=0/05).

Results: The results showed that the 8-week Zumba fitness training has a significant effect on decrease women’s body fat percentage (p=0/001); body mass index (p=0/001); fat mass (p=0/001); and Waist-to-hip ratio (p=0/004). However, not significant effect on protein mass in overweight women (p=0/92).

Conclusion: Based on the findings, we concluded that eight weeks of Zumba exercise can improve body composition in overweight women.</Abstract>

Chronic ankle instability (CAI) resulting from repetitive sprains can influence the performance in volleyball players. So, conservative strategies are important to manage such condition. The aim was to investigate the effects of strengthening/proprioceptive exercises (SPE) and Kinesiotaping® (KT) on volleyball players with CAI.

Materials and Methods: 

Thirty-eight volleyball players (Mean±SD, Age: 23.0±2.7 years; Playing years: 5.6±2.2 years) were divided into three groups including SPE (N=13), KT (N=13), and control (N=12). The Thera-Band was used for strengthening exercises and proprioceptive exercises were followed in closed kinetic chain exercises during 8 weeks. The KT method was administrated for peroneus muscles and also tibiofibular ligament. The participants were evaluated by Foot and Ankle Ability Measure, Single-leg Hopping test, and Heel raise test at baseline and after completing the interventions. 

Results:

Both the SPE and KT can significantly increase foot and ankle ability and improve performance in volleyball players with CAI (P&lt;0.001). However, a combination method of treatment is more effective compared to using exercise therapy alone.

Conclusion:

 A combination method involving the SPE and KT can be beneficial to improve ability and performance and achieving favorable results in volleyball players with CAI. </Abstract>

		<Abstract>Background: Stenotrophomonas maltophilia is an important cause of nosocomial infections. The bacteria is a non-fermentative Gram-negative bacilli. S. maltophilia is a newly emerging pathogen of growing significance that has been more frequently isolated in nosocomial specimens, hospital waters and Disinfection solutions. S. maltophilia is inherently resistant to many antimicrobial drugs that cause a significant challenge in treatment of infections. Most strains of this bacteria are resistant to many antibiotics, including:Carbapenems,Macrolides,Cephalosporins,Fluoroquinolones,Aminoglycosides.This bacteria is MDR (Multiple Drug Resistance).



Materials &amp; methods: In this study, 170 samples from medical equipment and 250 clinical samples were collected randomly from patients who were referred to hospitals in Jahrom city. Samples were transported to the laboratory in sterile containers. Then were cultured on phenotypic differential medium .After isolation of the bacteria, Gram staining was performed to detect Gram-negative bacilli. After the identification of Gram-negative bacilli, biochemical and differential tests were performed to identify the genus and species of S. maltophilia. Molecular diagnostic tests (PCR) was performed for confirmation of bacteria.



Results: Of the 250 clinical specimen, 14 samples (5.6%) and of the 170 samples collected from medical equipment, only 1 sample (0.6%) were positive. Positive samples were studied in terms of sensitivity to several antibiotics. Antibiotics were included: Ticarcillin (71.4%), Ceftazidime (64.3%), Levofloxacin (78.57%), Trimethoprim-sulfamethoxazole (7.14%), Chloramphenicol (28.57%), Aztreonam (64.3%), Imipenem (71.4%).



Conclusion: According to prevalence, high levels of antibiotic resistance and increase of multiple drug resistance (MDR) in stenotrophomonas maltophilia, identification and determination of antibiotic resistance is essential and recommended for treatment of opportunistic infection caused by this bacteria. It also recommended that further studies be conducted periodically in hospital on colonization of this bacteria for prevention and control.</Abstract>

		<Abstract>Background: Today, in most countries, hyperlipidemia, followed by atherosclerosis, leads to heart disease such as cardiovascular, and even death. Antioxidants can reduce blood cholesterol and risks of cardiovascular diseases. Origanum vulgar is full of antioxidants. This is because, we will study the effects of Origanum vulgare extract (OVE) on serum lipid profile and weight.

Methods: In this study, 28 male Wistar rats were allocated into 4 groups (n=7). The control group received distilled water, three experimental groups received the hydro alcoholic OVE with differentdoses of 50, 75 and 100 mg/kg, respectively. pretreatment with OVE  was performed for 30 days orally through gavage. 2hours after the last gavage, rats were weighted, then serum collected and samples were taken, then level of cholesterol, triglyceride, Low density lipoprotein and High density lipoprotein were measured by means One Way ANOVA in SPSS.

Results: Results of the current study showed that OVE reduced the levels of cholesterol, triglycerides, Low density lipoprotein and increases the level High density lipoprotein in three groups received the OVE  (50, 75 and 100 mg/kg) compared to the control group. OVE did not cause changes in rats weight.

Conclusion: It seems that OVE can exert the a protective effect against cardiovascular diseases by reduces the levels of cholesterol, triglyceride, Low density lipoprotein and increases High density lipoprotein.</Abstract>

		<Abstract>Introduction: Breast cancer is the second common cancer after lung cancer in women. Herbal preparations are used to treat centuries. The aim of this study was cytotoxic effect hydroalcholic extract from Combinatiin of Kelussia odaratissma Mozaff and Thymus daenesis Celak on MCF-7 cancer cells line.

Mateerial and method: MCF-7 cancer cells and Fibroblast normal cells were cultured in DMEM medium contaninig with Fetal Bovine Serum (FBS) and Antibiotic.The cells exposed to different doses of hydroalcholic extract from Combination of Kelussia odaratissma Mozaff and Thymus daenesis Celak (0/156, 0/312, 0/625, 1/25, 2/5 mg/ml) and were incubated for 24, 48 and 72 hours. After the incubation period, modifid colorimetric MTT method was used to determine the cellular toxicity of the extract.

Results: The results of the MTT test showed that Hydroalcholic extract from Combinatiin of Kelussia odaratissma Mozaff and Thymus daenesis Celak has dose-dependedent and time-dependent anti cancer effect on MCF-7 cancer cells. The highest percentage of cell death was observed after 72 h incubation and increase in extract concentration(p&lt; 0/05). extract did not show significant cytotoxicity on Fibroblast  normal cells.

Discussion and Conclusion: Hydroalcholic extract from Combinatiin of Kelussia odaratissma Mozaff and Thymus daenesis Celak has cytotoxic effect on MCF-7 cancer cells, However this extract does not have any cytotoxic effect on Fibroblast  normal cells. It seems to come with further research, and utilizes its are compound in cancer treatment.</Abstract>
