This qualitative study was conducted to investigate the spiritual experiences of women with breast cancer and the role of spirituality in the cancer experience.<br />Materials & Methods: This study was conducted with a qualitative research method and a contractual content analysis approach in 2024 at the Chemotherapy Center of Peymaniyeh Hospital in Jahrom City under the supervision of Jahrom University of Medical Sciences. To collect information, 13 patients with breast cancer were selected by targeted sampling and a semi-structured interview was conducted with them. Interviews were recorded, handwritten, and analyzed by Granheim and Lundman method. Lincoln and Cuban criteria were used to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the data. Data were analyzed using MAXQDA 2020 software (VERBI).<br />Results: Information in 3 levels of spiritual needs, including 4 sub-levels of communication with God, in search of awareness, hope in overcoming suffering, finding meaning in suffering, and spiritual and spiritual synergy; The category of factors of fear and suffering of the patient includes 3 sub-categories in the clutches of poverty and time, double suffering and silent battle, and the category of spirituality results in patients includes 2 sub-categories in the arms of God in overcoming cancer and recovery and healing pains. The average age of the patients was 44.30 years. Finally, 10 subcategories and 3 main categories (spiritual needs, factors of fear and suffering, and results of spirituality in patients) were extracted.<br />Conclusion: The results of the present study showed that living with breast cancer can change the path of life, beliefs and spiritual attitudes of patients. In addition, it will cause their spiritual growth and excellence. Also, the findings of this study showed the importance of addressing the spiritual needs of breast cancer patients as part of comprehensive and patient-centered care. It is recommended to conduct more studies on meeting the spiritual needs of cancer patients as a part of spiritual care. مقدمه: زنان مبتلا به سرطان سینه اغلب با چالش های عمیق معنوی روبرو هستند که بر عملکرد و سلامت معنوی آنان تاثیر می گذارد. این مطالعه کیفی با هدف بررسی تجربیات معنوی زنان مبتلا به سرطان سینه و نقش معنویت در تجربه سرطان انجام شد.<br />روش کار: این مطالعه با روش تحقیق کیفی و با رویکرد تحلیل محتوای قراردادی در سال 2024 در مرکز شیمی درمانی بیمارستان پیمانیه شهرستان جهرم زیر نظر دانشگاه علوم پزشکی جهرم انجام پذیرفته است. جهت گردآوری اطلاعات به روش نمونه گیری هدفمند 13 بیمار مبتلا به سرطان سینه انتخاب و با آنان مصاحبه نیمه ساختارمند به عمل آمد. مصاحبه ها ضبط، دست نویس و با روش گرانهایم و لاندمن مورد تجزیه و تحلیل قرار گرفت. جهت اطمینان از صحت و پایایی داده ها از معیارهای لینکن و کوبا استفاده شد. داده ها با استفاده از نرم افزار MAXQDA 2020(VERBI) تجزیه و تحلیل شدند.<br />یافته ها: اطلاعات در 3 طبقه نیازهای معنوی شامل 4 زیر طبقه ارتباط با معبود، در جستجوی آگاهی، امید در گذر از رنج، معنا یابی در رنج و هم افزایی معنوی و روحی؛ طبقه عوامل ترس و رنج بیمار شامل 3 زیر طبقه در چنگال فقر و زمان ، رنج مضاعف و نبرد خاموش و طبقه نتایج معنویت در بیماران شامل 2 زیر طبقه در آغوش خدا در گذر از سرطان و بهبودی و التیام آلام استخراج گردید.<br />نتیجه گیری: نتایج مطالعه ی حاضر نشان دادند که زندگی با بیماری سرطان سینه می تواند مسیر زندگی، باورها و نگرش های معنوی بیماران را تغییر دهد. علاوه بر این باعث رشد و تعالی معنوی آن ها شود. هم چنین یافته های این مطالعه اهمیت پرداختن به نیازهای معنوی بیماران سرطان سینه به عنوان بخشی از مراقبت جامع و بیمار محور را نشان داد. انجام مطالعات بیشتر در مورد تامین نیازهای معنوی بیماران سرطانی به عنوان بخشی از مراقبت های معنوی توصیه می گردد. https://jmj.jums.ac.ir/article_714415_b636da8d41f0e7f22a787fb46d1f13b3.pdf
